James Bibbings: Founder and Chief Executive Officer

James launched Turnkey Trading Partners in 2008 after he completed a successful career as an NFA Supervisor.  James has previously qualified in US Federal Court and has been approved to work on CFTC/SEC receivership matters as an expert witness and consultant.  Highlights of his work within the legal system include advising attorneys for both the MF Global’s class action lawsuit as well as on matters related to the failure of Peregrine Financial Group (PFG Best). Mr. Bibbings was also instrumental in assisting class counsel on a variety of matters related to the global forex (FX) price fixing scandal within the international banking sector.  Bibbings is also an expert within the commodity based over-the-counter swaps market and works with several of the derivatives industries largest market participants. He has guided Turnkey to numerous “Best” awards.  In 2022, James used his background and experience to create Turnkey Training, an ongoing education vendor for the Financial Services Industry. In Turnkey Training’s first year of operations roughly 2,500 educational courses were administered cementing Turnkey Training’s place in the educational sector for derivatives firms.  James’ insights and work have been featured in/at the National Introducing Brokers Association, Bloomberg, Reuters, Financial Times, WSJ Market Watch, MSN, Yahoo, FX Street, Forex Factory and others. He is a frequent industry speaker and recognized thought leader at both foreign and domestic conferences on a variety of CFTC/NFA related topics.

 

Susan Osmanski: President

Susan has been actively involved in the commodity futures industry for more than twenty-five years. Her career began in fund management where she was responsible for the administration of eighteen affiliated public and private commodity funds. Since, she has gathered extensive experience as an independent consultant for CFTC and NFA member firms. She was selected to serve on the Advisory Board for the Commodity Customer Coalition (“CCC”). With her assistance, the CCC has been able to help thousands of every day commodity customers recover from both the MF Global and Peregrine Financial Group (“PFG Best”) collapses.  Throughout her career she has authored a number of articles for industry publications, participated in numerous conferences as a speaker, and has been asked to be a panel participant on a variety of occasions.

 

Scott Kruse: Senior Manager – Accounting Group

Scott brings a wide range of financial services experience to Turnkey’s Accounting team. He has been actively involved in the accounting and trading operations for FCMs, proprietary trading groups, broker deals and corporations. With these experiences, Scott has gained expertise in regulatory reporting, month-end close process, GAAP accounting and external, internal and regulatory audits. He manages a team of five (5) to meet the accounting needs of Turnkey’s clients. Scott was formerly a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois and holds an Accounting degree From the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of business.

 

Charlene Osmanski, Esq.: Senior Manager – Compliance Group

Charlene joined Turnkey Trading Partners after being accepted to the Illinois Bar. She previously worked at Turnkey as an intern during her law school tenure. Charlene has also interned at law offices focused on Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property. She has a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a Certificate in Intellectual Property and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business & Management and Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During law school, Charlene was a member of the Intellectual Property Legal Society and the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. While at Rensselaer, she was on the varsity softball team and served as secretary for the Business & Management Honor Society.

 

Brandon Hennington: Senior Accountant

Brandon Hennington is a ProAdvisor and QuickBooks certified. He has received a Bookkeeping specialist certification from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He previously spent time working for Quattro, a large corporate accounting firm, where he was responsible for the financial reporting of 55 NAPA auto parts stores.  After spending time at Quattro Brandon joined Intuit, the maker of Quickbooks, where he was a specialist in assisting and solving small business accounting issues.  Brandon graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics. While in school he played Basketball for West Georgia’s DII collegiate team. Brandon also spent time serving the United States in the Navy as an operations specialist.

 

Matthew Anderson: Special Projects Manager

Matt Anderson attended college at Oglethorpe University where he played collegiate baseball. After receiving his BS in business administration he started his career working for Hertz Rental car in Marietta, GA. He decided to return to school and attended Florida Atlantic University (“FAU”) where he earned a masters of science in Economics. While at FAU, Matt interned for FundSeeder and spent time working with Market Wizards author Jack Schwager to identify undiscovered trading talent. While in this role Matt helped to interview traders, worked on marketing campaigns, and helped to successfully roll out FundSeeder’s in person Trader Summit event hosted at FAU’s Trading Room.  Matt originally joined Turnkey in 2019 after being exposed to industry compliance obligations while at FundSeeder. He joined Turnkey as one of the firm’s first employees out of its Fort Lauderdale office. Anderson has a broad set of skills and assists each of Turnkey’s various departments – accounting, consulting, compliance, and training with special projects. He has also spent time at Turnkey working in operations and is familiar with all facets of company services.

 

Wendy Kabalen (Formally Jobson): Senior Compliance Consultant

Wendy Kabalen joined Turnkey after working for nearly twelve years (12) in compliance at R.J. O’Brien (“RJO”). RJO is one of the industry’s largest and oldest independent Futures Commissions Merchants (“FCM”). During her tenure at RJO Wendy gained exposure and experience in a wide range of areas.  Wendy worked extensively with RJO’s guaranteed introducing broker (“GIB”) network. In this role she was responsible for GIB onsite reviews, GIB supervision and surveillance, as well as development of certain GIB operational and compliance policies. She assisted GIBs with training obligations and any other general GIB related compliance matter which may have arisen from time to time.  Wendy also worked directly for the FCM in market surveillance. In this role she completed internal trade reconstruction reviews to ensure all aspects of trade processes were being conducted in accordance with applicable CFTC, NFA, and CME member rules. Prior to her work with RJO, Kabalen worked in Customer Care for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command out of Fort Knox, Kentucky.  Wendy has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Counseling. She has always had a passion for volunteer and charity work and has committed herself to serving with several high risk and educational youth organizations.

 

Jason Hoffman: Senior Compliance Consultant

Jason Hoffman joined the Turnkey team in Florida after relocating from New York. While in New York he spent time working in a variety of brokerage and trade support capacities. Early in his career Jason worked for Kottke & Associates at the NYMEX executing open outcry options trades. In this role he gained valuable experience with CME’s FEC Portal, Clearport, ICE Exchange WebICE, and a variety of other back office platforms. After leaving Kottke, Hoffman spent time with OTC Global Holdings working in operations for their energy brokerage desks and held a Series 3 license. He moved on to Goldman Sachs as a transactions associate and primarily worked with equity derivative structured products including swaps and other exotic hybrids. Jason’s time at Goldman lead him to another trading role at UBS. At UBS Hoffman continued in equity derivatives but also covered and specialized in commodity swaps. At UBS he was involved in the assessment of various position risk monitoring and other trade economics capacities. Hoffman holds a BS in Financial Services from Roger Williams University located in Rhode Island.
